About the role

You will be expected to handle a mixed case load of employers' and public liability cases, as well as road traffic cases, for a variety of leading UK based insurers and their insureds.

  • Ensure that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible, and provide sound technical advice.
  • Work with our valued and long-standing clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice.
  • Prioritise work effectively and maximise efficiency in working practices
  • Build stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
  • Develop your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices

About you

We will consider applications from candidates with strong academics who have some post-qualification experience of handling personal injury litigation, but also welcome applications from those with more general court experience.

  • Experience of working within a busy commercial environment, handling a varied caseload
  • Strong technical and commercial expertise, including a thorough grasp of principles and case law
  • The ability to develop new skills and to use your initiative, with the support of an experienced team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
