Interested in joining a supportive, inclusive, and diverse team in an international legal business? Our Cashiering team at DWF are currently hiring for an Legal Cashier to work from our office in Manchester.

 

The newly amalgamated cashiering team at DWF combines the cashiering and bank reconciliation functions and works across multiple sites including Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds to provide support to the whole firm.

About the role

As a Legal Cashier, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing cashiering support and analysis for the firm across all Manchester Cashiering duties including cash allocations and payments (BACS/faster payments/CHAPs/cheques)
  • Preparing and authorising online electronic bank transfers, i.e. CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payment.
  • Assist with cheques to be produced for local and regional offices
  • Consider all new requested information in line with agreed Service Standards/ISO Procedures and SAR requirements
  • Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
  • Support with the management of the cashiering queries inbox ensuring timely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholders

About you

There are some specific skills and experience we are looking for from candidates.

  • Ideally have demonstrable legal cashiering experience, however we can also consider individuals with experience working within a busy finance role
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Detail oriented approach with significant emphasis on achieving a high quality of work
  • A confident user of Microsoft Excel to intermediary level
